The project involves the design and construction of solution to remediate water intrusion, mold, lead based paint, asbestos containing material, and complete other related repairs to the U.S. Post Office and Federal Courthouse, in Columbus, Georgia (GA0025ZZ) located at 120 12th Street, Columbus Georgia.

The work includes:

* Building investigations to determine the extent of lead in the flaking paint on interior ceilings and walls, determine the extent of mold and mildew on interior ceilings and walls, and design of improvements/repairs to correct these deficiencies

* Design and removal of ACM floor tiles in the basement and Post Office work area on the first floor

* Design and repair of leaks at the basement window wells

* Design and repair of the leak in the basement outside wall in the US Courts Records Storage Room

The project will also include updating the ceiling in the elevator lobbies on the second and third floors, suspended ceiling grid replacement, wall covering removal, patching sheetrock, and painting.
