The Work to be performed shall include but is not limited to construction administration and inspection services through project close-out to support the construction of Project VN-32/VN-49. Tasks include: pre-construction services; construction administration, inspection and testing; independent confirmatory inspection and testing and; post construction and project close-out. The construction Scope of Work includes but is not limited to: (i) cleaning and painting of all suspender ropes from 10' above the roadway through the inside of the stiffening truss, all floor and stiffening truss members, gusset plates and all steel connections to the main structural members; (ii) median center post repairs; (iii) installation of traveler rail/runway beams on the main span, hangers and splices; (iv) installation of a new maintenance catwalk system on each side of the bridge adjacent to the lower cord of the stiffening truss; (v) furnishing and installing means restriction fencing system and accessories; (vi) abatement of lead containing materials; (vii) maintenance and protection of traffic.

The Consultant shall provide sufficient resources to adequately staff the Project to include at minimum the following: (a) Project Manager; (b) Resident Engineer; (c) Office Engineer; (d) Consultant Safety and Health Representative; (e) Consultant Environmental Compliance Representative; (f) Field Inspectors; and (g) Consultant Quality Assurance Representative. Senior project team members must be Professional Engineers registered in the State of New York. All respondents must comply with NYS Education Law Section 7209.

Interested firms must submit one (1) original and five (5) copies of a Letter of Interest, Standard Form 330 and the Authority Forms C-021 and RFQ-4 (Rev2/17) and Proposer Diversity Practices Questionnaire. Submittals must be no more than thirty-five (35) pages of text in length printed double-sided, the C-021, RFQ-4 form and the Proposer Diversity Practices Questionnaire will not be included in the 35-page total. All respondents are advised that in the interests of waste reduction and maximizing the potential for recycling, respondents are requested to use at least 30% post-consumer recycled content paper to the extent practicable and to avoid using (i) plastic binders, plastic dividers and/or plastic tabs and comb and velo binding in preparing their submittal.
