Stony Brook University is seeking a consultant to design a tenant build-out of approximately 3,500 net square feet on the first floor of the Stony Brook Union, which is currently under renovation.

The intended space has been left in 'shell' condition within the current construction contract. The Consultant will provide a tenant build-out package that designs the space, and connects to the building's existing HVAC, sprinklers, and electric, IT / Data and other infrastructure. The Consultant's contract will be separate from the current Architect's contract for the current building renovation work. Once complete, the space will house the "Uniti Cultural Center", a multicultural center that will be a visual representation of various cultural themes. The furniture and fixtures, artwork and graphics will celebrate its cultural diversity and will be integral to the Center.

Interested firms must be able to demonstrate successful experience in providing such service of equal or greater magnitude in a facility of similar size and scope. Interested parties should contact the procurement office as indicated below to obtain a copy of the RFQ, which includes the required format for the statement of qualifications.
