Contract includes all labor, equipment and materials for the construction of approx. 4,400LF of 8' wide stone dust trail, 3,000LF or 4' wide stone dust trail, 120LF of 8' wide helical pier boardwalk, 20lf or 8' wide helical pier bridge crossing, 2,900sf of asphalt parking lot, construction of 22,000sf of vernal pools, trail signage & limestone slab seating areas.
Funding for the project is being provided in part by the New York State Department of State under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund. There is an overall M/WBE goal of 30% (of the grant amount), MBE 15% ($29,645.10) and MBE 15% ($29,645.10)
Plans & specs available from the Grand Island Town Clerk's office (2255 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY) on or after June 29, 2018, M-F 8:30am- 5PM. Bid Deposit of $50 required and will be refunded upon return of contract documents in good condition within 7 days following bid opening.
Each proposal must be accompanied by cash, certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid.
Bid Opening - Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 at 10AM at Grand Island Town Hall. Bids to be submitted to Town Clerk prior to 10AM.
